I've loved you for A Thousand Years...

I think I may have died and became a real vampire in this picture   I'm not a really big fan of "Twilight," (although I have read all the books (^_^) but I just looove Christina Perri's song.   I feel that I can relate to being a vampire who has been roaming around this world for centuries... I don't think that we have met already... but that's okay...   ~ I hope and pray that he is just out there somewhere... if I have to die and live again just to be with him, I'd gladly do it... aw!  * I hope that when he hears this song,  he will somehow feel that  there's someone  who has loved him for a thousand years...  One step closer I have died every day Waiting for you Darlin' don't be afraid, I have loved you for a Thousand years I'll love you for a Thousand more And all along I believed I would find you Time has brought Your heart to me I have loved you for a Thousand years I'll...

Red Balloons

When I arrived at the office, there were some red balloons around... and for the entire shift, the song from one of my favorite singers, Katie Melua, kept on playing in my mind... I put my heart in a red balloon But I let it go to soon ~ ~ ~

When Two Hearts Beat as One

I made this for a V-day deco  about 3 years ago.    Anyway, I   have a feeling that  my soulmate looks like him. He is about 5' 10" or so.   He is strong enough   to lift me up when we're both excited   about something or maybe carry me in his arms or on his back when I become too weak  to reach the top of a staircase or a mountain... He loves God   with all of his heart, mind and soul...  ...  Family is very important for him  .   He never forgets birthdays  and special occasions  despite his busy schedule. My guy is definitely straight and single (never been married and never had kids with anyone). He doesn't mind rolling on his back on the ground   with a 5-year-old kid in their make-believe stunt game.   In fact, he adores children and loves them.   He enjoys cooking but   still loves me even if I'm not great at it... ...

A Red Rose

Somehow, seeing this flower reminded me of e.e. cummings' poem, "Somewhere I Have Never Traveled, Gladly"    with the song, The First Time I loved Forever: Lyrics by Melanie Safka Music by Lee Holdridge Sung by Lisa Angelle (From "Beauty and the Beast") "I do not know  what it is about you  that closes  and opens.  Only something in me understands... ~ ~ ~

A Child Is Born

The real meaning of Christmas... For God so loved the world that  He gave His one and only Son, Jesus Christ,  so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.  (John 3:16)

Just The Bare Necessities

The Jungle Book was one of those cartoon movies that I enjoyed watching when I was a kid.  One song on its soundtrack that was embedded in my mind was "The Bare Necessities."   As I was growing up, I've noticed all these changes in our world.  This so-called modernization makes it difficult for people nowadays to enjoy living a simple life.   so don't spend your time lookin' around For something you want that can't be found When you find out you can live without it And go along not thinkin' about it I'll tell you something true... The bare necessities of life will come to you! You know, a lot of times, I feel like I'm some kind of a time-traveler... that I'm someone from the old century, and I'm just here traveling through time... silently observing every one... At first, I was amazed with how people can easily do things with just one press or with one click, however, I have noticed through the years how the modern worl...

Arabian Nights

Song for today is  from Disney's Aladdin movie soundtrack: believe that somewhere among the stars, i am there.. shining brightly for you... will u promise to wait for me? This evening, we had our year-end celebration with the theme, Arabian Nights. I wasn't sure what to wear... we were asked to be in an Arabian fashion... but I didn't have the time to go shopping so I just went there and put on one of my headscarves... none of my friends wore anything Arabian-inspired... with Sir A who looks rather like a Chinese merchant than an Arab man =D with a guest who serenaded us with a few love songs... ahem  It was a great night of partying... dancing... eating... and there was some card-reading too... It was my first time to try it and I was amazed with the card reader who was very accurate about some facts of my life... About my future, she told me that my soulmate has curly hair... That's all she can say...
