Our conversations began to flow.
Like something unplanned…
but steady.
From simple greetings of the day…
to conversations that slowly started carrying more weight.
He talked about himself.
His love for bikes.
His lifestyle.
The small, ordinary details of his days.
And I noticed something.
It was easy.
Too easy.
No pressure.
No effort.
Just flow.
And that… made it feel different.
At one point,
I shared something I usually don’t say out loud.
A fear.
Motorbike accidents.
The kind that happen suddenly.
The kind that take people away…
without warning.
Including someone I lost in 2021.
But I didn’t say that part.
Not fully.
Not yet.
It stayed inside me.
Unfinished.
Unspoken.
And then he replied.
Gently.
Calmly.
Saying he wasn’t reckless.
That he understood.
That he would be careful.
It wasn’t dramatic.
It wasn’t long.
But somehow…
it mattered more than I expected.
Because it wasn’t dismissal.
It was care.
And I remember thinking—
that kind of response is rare.
Our conversations kept shifting.
Like tides that don’t stay in one form.
Light became heavy.
Heavy became light again.
We could talk about food and traffic…
and then suddenly shift to earthquakes around the world.
As if nothing had changed.
As if everything made sense together.
Like distance didn’t matter.
Like understanding didn’t need effort.
And then—
he mentioned a wedding.
Just casually.
Like it was nothing.
But I paused.
Just a little.
I started imagining it.
The colors.
The music.
The movement of people.
Life unfolding in real time.
He shared bits of it.
Simple things.
Nothing detailed.
Mostly, he said,
he was too busy eating to take photos.
I laughed at that.
Quietly.
To myself.
Still…
I wished I had seen it.
The couple.
The atmosphere.
Even a small glimpse of him there.
I’ve always liked weddings.
The culture.
The colors.
The quiet meaning behind everything.
And for a moment…
I wanted to see it through his eyes.
Days passed like that.
Conversations blending into each other.
Ordinary life.
Random thoughts.
Deeper reflections.
Nothing forced.
Nothing loud.
Just… steady presence.
And somewhere in between all of it…
something began forming.
Quietly.
Without announcement.
Without awareness.
I didn’t notice it then.
Not fully.
Not clearly.
That something deeper…
had already started taking shape.
Inside the ordinary.
And I still didn’t know…
how far it would go from there.
