A Walking Tour to Remember

For me, it is very important to start a day with a prayer...

and be in solitude with God early in the morning...

As the sun heats up, there's a feeling of warmth

in knowing that there is someone who is praying for you too...

It's crazy how our past is so connected with our present.

Miguel López de Legazpi
(Spanish navigator and governor who founded Cebu in 1565)

Although, the past may dictate who we are,
we still get to determine what we become.

For we are not defined by our past.

We are only prepared by our past.

So that one day, we could leave it behind

in order not to forget

but to remember how it made us what we are today.

Sometimes, we need to sit down

and walk down memory lane...

with famous Chinese Proverbs:
Be not afraid of growing slowly,
be afraid only of standing still.

If you are patient in one moment of anger,
you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.

Teachers open the doors.
You enter by yourself.

If you don't want anyone to know,
don't do it.

If heaven made him,
earth can find some use for him.

Half a sentence is too much
when there is no meeting of minds ~

You won't help the new plants grow by pulling them up higher.

Cebu City Half-Day Tour includes the following:
Cebu Cathedral
Sto. Nino Church
Fort San Pedro
Taoist Temple

It was pretty exhausting
after a long day of walking under the scorching heat of the sun...
but it's always fun to learn and see some historical sites...
