Weekend Getaway at Moalboal

Moalboal is about 2.5 hours bus ride from Cebu City.

It is located on the western south side of Cebu Island.

Along the way, you'd see beautiful views like these.

I don't know why but when I saw this scene, Madonna's song "This Used to be My Playground" suddenly played in my mind... I think it's a meaningful song and it's one of those songs that I like to listen to when I travel by bus or by ship... it makes me think much about my life until eventually, I'd fall  asleep ...

Moalboal is a perfect place where you can have a quiet moment while you wait for sunset.  

Well, maybe not during April and May when the resorts are usually filled with local and foreign tourists.

Catch a Trip to Catmon, Cebu

About 2 hours north of Cebu City is a town called Catmon.

These shots were taken at a hot/ cold spring  found there.

Somewhere above the huge rocks springs hot water and as it drips down,
it gives the rocky side of the mountain some stalactite formations.
Hot water then mixes with fresh cold water from the stream below, and
it then makes bathing soothing and relaxing.

How cool is that!!!

Online PhotoDiary ~

There are 2 things that gives me pure joy - Art and Travel.  

I see great artworks from the Supreme Master Artist every where I go.  

GOD is perfectly amazing ~

 Each mountain, waterfall, river, sea and all the creatures in it

 is uniquely formed and painted through time with unbelievable colors .

He gives me inspiration to somehow create something through my own artwork 

(which I still need to work on though, and do more of it as I should ^_^)

I feel that my perspective on art and travel is constantly growing and

 it gives me so much awe and wonder, that I get bewildered and curious... 

and I realize that there is so much to learn... to see... 

to discover about the beauty in our world.

Since I'm not so good with words, I opt to have a photoblog instead ...

 I feel more comfortable with sharing my thoughts through photographs and drawings....

Anyway, every now and then, I'll blog about some snippets of my life 

and fragments of my thoughts

I'm the kind of person who doesn't throw or replace something unless it's broken. So, still armed with my obsolete point-and-shoot Kodak camera (which still works), I continue to persevere on my journey to not-so-distant places in and around Cebu as I try to capture beautiful sights through photography.
