Early Moonrise

One lazy afternoon...

got lost and decided to stop at some unknown place...

Deserted places may seem scary for some...

but it is amazing how serene a place could be without people...

we really should learn how to live with nature...
and not ruin its tranquility...

Look at the sky...
We are not alone...

It always makes me wonder
how many other people in the world
are also looking at the moon
at the same time that I do...

after all,
we are all under this one big sky...

As the Sun Rises

Live in the sunshine
swim in the sea
Drink the wild air
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Our life depends on the kind of thoughts we nurture.
If our thoughts are peaceful, calm, meek, and kind,
then that is what our life is like.

If our attention is turned to the circumstances in which we live,
we are drawn into a whirlpool of thoughts
and
can neither have peace nor tranquility.”

~ Thaddeus of Vitovnica

Escape to the Sea

Alone time is
when I distance myself
from the voices of the world
so I can hear my own ~
~ Oprah

Lost...
yesterday...
 somewhere...
between
sunrise
and
sunset...

and
then
I
found
you

“Fall in love
with the energy
of the mornings

trace your fingers
along the lull
of the afternoons

take the spirit
of the evenings
in your arms
kiss it deeply

and then
make love
to the tranquility
of the nights.”

~ Sanober Khan

The two most important days in your life are
the day you were born
and
the day you find out why...

~

the last shot is of my cousin, pregnant with her second child,
and I wonder what her thoughts are
as she stares out at the sea...

with the bicycle on the foreground,

it makes me think of her little boy
who'll be riding that bike
as soon as he's big enough to do it...

Travel Destinations in the Philippines

A travel exhibit at SM City Cebu Trade Hall is happening this week
showcasing different provinces in the Philippines...
booths are filled with various sights...
enticing everyone to go, travel and explore...

Here are some of the places I dream of exploring:

~ Ilocos Province in the northern part of the Philippines
has some of the most well-preserved churches
and ancestral homes in the country. ~

~ Its neighboring province of Cagayan will surely not fail to satisfy any explorer ~

~ Together with the province of Camarines...

...the province of Sorsogon located at the tip of Bicol Region
is definitely one of the places worth-visiting ~

~ I wish to discover the beauty of this province since I don't hear much about this place which is located in between Samar and Leyte ~

~ I hope to explore every town in the islands of Cebu and Bohol ~

~ The islands of Palawan are among my bucket list ~

~ The Caraga Region has one of the richest natural resources
and most amazing scenery in the country ~

~ There is so much beauty here, because Beauty is Everywhere Flirtatious~

~ I was surprised to see a booth from Malaysia ~

There was an artist who was doing sketches for free...

A lot of people had lined up when I arrived at the Malaysian booth
and I practically had to wait for hours for my turn!!!

I was just excited when I had mine done ^_^

This is the first portrait of myself done by someone else...
Isn't it cool?!!!

~ Just go...

Go... see all the beauty in the world ~

Hi!

Will You Please Lift the Curtain?

had a picnic with friends today...
spent a great deal of time together...
sharing thoughts about love and life...
and thinking about beautiful dreams for tomorrow...

Rapunzel tells us one thing about love
Climbing the highest tower
becomes less difficult
if someone at the end
gives you reason to hold on.

wherever you may be...
will you keep holding on for me, please?

the tree on the left is what we call tsiris or mansanitas --- member of the Indian Jujube family ...
it bears cherry-like fruits that taste really sweet..
you can just pluck it from its branches, and eat it right away...
for many kids, it brings back fun-filled childhood memories...

the tree on the far right is what we call calachuchi (plumeria)...
its white-yellowish flowers gives off this very sweet fragrant, especially at night..
it does have long, stiff leaves but this one seemed to have shed off its leaves...

i just find this ironic..
there's the tree on the left with its leaves offering shade and sweetness with its fruits,
and the other is almost bald, just leaving the white flowers behind with it's fragrance...

which kind of tree would u be?

you don't have to go far...

just get up..

look out from your window..

feel the breeze...

see how blue the sky is..

notice how the tree has grown...

or better yet,

go out
and
run like a child

w00t!
